RUGO Standard Comprehensive Warranty

RUGO Standard Comprehensive Warranty covers manufacturer's defects of all parts up to one year from the time of purchase. The customer will have to pay the shipping costs for any part requested or ordered. Original batteries are covered by a six months warranty (Lithium Batteries are covered for one year).

Extended warranty

The customer may buy an Extended Warranty for free services up to one year to cover any labour and repair not related to any abuse, misuse, and/or neglect, or accident. This service cost $200.00 at the buying time, just enjoy going green without any worries but count on us for all cost.


Normal E-Bike Repair Services

No labour and part charge when the part is under warranty. Customer will have to pay $40.00 per hour for labour plus part cost if warranty has expired. For our ebike parts price, please check out Ebike parts.

RUGO PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection)

RUGO Standard Comprehensive Warranty is covered by the Pre-Delivery Inspection and Assembly Charge (PDI is $70.00 per ebike). If this PDI or an Extended Warranty is not taken then there is no Standard Comprehensive or an Extended Warranty on ebike. Allow for a minimum of 24 hours for PDI and Assembly, at which time test and trial runs are conducted on the products to ensure all systems are safe and operable. Allow for at least 24 hours for warranty and estimate examination, and at least 5 business days for repair in case for claim.


RUGO FREE Inspection

All RUGO customers are welcome to bring their ebikes back to the store for adjustments and inspections any time for the first week. There is no charge for this service.

Voiding or Cancellation of RUGO Standard Comprehensive Warranty

Any warranty is automatically void or cancelled if you take our products to somewhere else for repair, check up or for any other reason, during your warranty period.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if parts are replaced or modified.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if the product has been in an accident that's affected the major components of the operation of the product.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if the Tracking Identification Number is erased, scratched or removed from the frame of the product.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if the Tracking ID Number does not match the ID number of the motor.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if there is evidence of abuse, misuse, and/or neglect.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if there is evidence that the damage to the ebike is a result of exposure to floods, salt and other foreign debris or chemicals.
Warranty is automatically void or cancelled if the PDI and Assembly charges are not accepted at the time of purchase.
